Dennis K. Mitcheltree

WILLIAMSPORT - Dennis K. Mitcheltree, 72, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Gatehouse to be with his Lord.
Dennis was born on October 7, 1952 in Williamsport and was the son of the late Calvin D. and Barbara J. (Henry) Mitcheltree. He had graduated from Williamsport High School and the Williamsport Area Community College. Dennis had worked at Avis Homes and then Steel Container, from where he retired from. He was a member of the Lycoming Presbyterian Church and enjoyed listening to old music, loved to cook and make family meals and loved to take long walks. He had served his country by joining the US Army.
Dennis is survived by his loving companion of over 20 years; Harriett A. Brace-Harvey, two sons; Dennis K. Mitcheltree, Jr. and Jody Mitcheltree, one daughter; Frances Neff (Steve), four grandchildren; one brother; Scott A. Mitcheltree (Sylvia), one sister; Gwendolyn Wachter (Gary) and his beloved cat; Purrsia Marie.
In keeping with Dennis' wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
