Dennis "Todd" Murphy

Dennis “Todd” Murphy passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on June 30, 1961, in Olathe, Kansas, to Dennis and Judith Murphy.

Todd was a kind-hearted and devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a generous spirit, a great sense of humor, and a deep love for his family. Whether through his laughter, his wisdom, or simply his presence, he had a way of making those around him feel valued and loved.

He is survived by his mother, Judith Arlene Murphy; his brothers, Curtis Murphy and wife Kerri Roberts, and Craig Murphy and wife Gale Murphy; his nieces, Alexa De La O and husband Saúl De La O, and Briley Roberts; his nephews, Connor Murphy, Matthew Murphy, and Blane Roberts; his great friend, Brenda Foltz; and many other cherished friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Murphy.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Penwell-Gabel in Olathe, Kansas, with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Olathe Hospice House in Todd’s honor.

Todd’s kindness, warmth, and the love he shared with those around him will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
