Dennis George Oberding, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 88. He was born in Plum City, Wisconsin to George and Elsie Oberding.
Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Army. He attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls before beginning his career as a research chemist. Dennis enjoyed playing golf and was the ultimate Green Bay Packers Fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Linda Solie; and his brothers, Jim Oberding, and Richard Oberding. Dennis is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rita Glaus Oberding; his daughters, Suzanne McAuliffe (Michael), Lori Idler, Kathleen Pinkerton (Jerry), and Lisa Saucier (Ronnie); his son, Mark Oberding; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Jerry Oberding.
In accordance with his wishes private services will be held at a later date.
