Age 85. Beloved son of the late John and Ann (nee DeMatteo) Pulisi; he will be sadly missed by his dog, Cody, and many cherished family and friends. The family will be present Friday from 4-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd). Family and friends are invited to assemble Saturday at 10:30 AM to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville, NY 14221. Entombment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org . Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com

Mr. Pulisi was my junior year English teacher at South Park High School. If I wanted a good grade in his class, by golly I had to EARN it. But he also taught me that I was capable of much more than I thought I was. He was what a teacher shoukd be.
