Dennis Robert Rietveld, age 78, passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace Hospice on November 29, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1947, in Milwaukee, WI to Robert and June (nee Roth).
Dennis spent his life embracing the beauty of the world around him. He was a passionate outdoorsman who relished every moment spent in nature, whether it was biking through scenic trails, enjoying the great outdoors or traveling with his wife, Carol.
He was a true music lover, finding joy in playing guitar and sharing melodies with family and friends. He also had a remarkable talent for woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected his love for the outdoors and his attention to detail.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol; brother Jerry (Toni) Rietveld; along with nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
The family would like to thank the compassionate staff and caregivers at AngelsGrace Hospice for their exceptional care and support during his final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
