Dennis Paul Ringlein, born on May 19, 1944, in Ord, Nebraska, to Cletus and Mary Kay (Zenter) Ringlein. He passed away on March 3, 2026, at the Valley County Health System Hospital in Ord, Nebraska at the age of 81.
Dennis grew up in Ord and graduated from Ord High School in 1962.
On July 1, 1968, Dennis married his beloved wife, Colleen Kay Powers, at St. Paul, Nebraska. Together, they were blessed with two children, Leatha and Steven, and built a loving home in Ord.
Dennis began his working life at the young age of 14 at the Ord Quiz, where he operated the printing press. His career continued as he worked as a Nurse Aide at the Valley County Nursing Home until he reached retirement. He was known for his compassion and dedication to those he cared for throughout his years of service.
Dennis was an avid Muzzleloader and took pride in being a member of the United Nebraska Muzzleloaders Association. His creative spirit shone through as a skilled leather craftsman; he crafted many leather goods for family and friends over the years. Dennis also had a passion for photography.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Colleen K. Ringlein of Ord; daughter and son-in-law, Leatha and Norman Snyder of Imperial; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kim Ringlein of Bellevue; four grandchildren, Sean Snyder and Jordan, Brillynn, and Evelyn Ringlein; sister, Barb Earl; sister-in-law, Claudia Morgan; and his special friend, Jeff Breitkreutz.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis' wishes were to be cremated and no service of remembrance.
