Dennis Roberts Obituary
Dennis L. Roberts, 71, of Nassau, entered into rest on May 17, 2022.
The son of the late Leon H., Jr. and Florence (O'Neill) Roberts, Dennis was born on November 1, 1950, in North Adams, Mass. He was the husband of Catherine R. (Dollard) Roberts.
Dennis was raised in Hancock, Mass. He received his education from McCann Vocational Technical High School in North Adams, Mass.
For 50 years, Dennis worked as a truck driver for various local companies.
Dennis loved dogs, birds, and his family. He enjoyed auto and horse racing and was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his children: Kelly Linn (Shane) and Jason Wood (Catherine). His grandchildren: Alexis, Logan, Keegan and Jayden. His siblings: John Roberts (Jane) and Julie Williams (Arthur). Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A celebration of Dennis' life will be held on May 28, 2022, from 12 noon until 4 pm at his home: 3624 Route 20, Nassau, NY 12123.

I met Denny in our freshman year at McCann and immediately became good friends. His home in Hancock was just a stones throw from my grandfathers house so we had much to talk about. Our interests were the same but as years went by we never kept in touch until Facebook arrived. Kick myself many times for not taking time to reach out no matter how far it was to travel. I'm not much of a sentimental person but Denny was that great of a guy. My heart spills with sadness and my love and prayers go to all his loved ones.
