Dennis M. Rondorf passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Kathy Hospice at the age of 78. He was born August 7, 1947 in Greenwood, WI to Joseph and Evelyn (nee DeMuth) Rondorf.

Dennis attended St. Mary's school and later graduated from Greenwood High School with the class of 1965. He came to West Bend to work and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968. Prior to his deployment to Vietnam he was united in marriage to Sandra Willkomm on April 6, 1968 at Holy Angels Church. Sandra preceded him in death on January 14, 2016.

For many years he worked at Fleet Farm in West Bend and then transferred to the Germantown Fleet Farm. He made life-long friends at both stores. Following his retirement in 2013 he enjoyed traveling to various places with Sandy and spending time with his family. He later cherished the time he was able to spend with his grandson, Race.

Den was a kind and quiet man who loved his family. A highly decorated Veteran earning a Silver Star, Bronze Star, Air Medal and Purple Heart. He enjoyed coin collecting, reading, and a good breakfast out after church.

Dennis is survived by his 2 beloved children: daughter Gina (Jeff) Stange of Adell and his son Grant Rondorf of West Bend and his grandson, Race. He is further survived by his brothers, James (Norma) Rondorf of Milwaukee and Charles (Donna) Rondorf of West Bend and his sisters Particia (Manuel) Alvarado of Madison and Marjorie (the late James) Lloyd of West Bend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Rondorf, his parents, Joe and Evelyn Rondorf, his parents-in-law LeRoy and Joyce Willkomm, his brothers John Rondorf, Richard Rondorf and Lawrence Rondorf and his sisters Judy Rondorf in infancy, Phyllis Syth, Janet Kreuser and Nancy Feucht.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Russell Arnett presiding. Military honors will take place after Mass. The family will greet visitors at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated.
