Dennis Sanita was my friend. Over many years, he helped the Research Team of the Remington Society of America in its efforts to preserve Remington's proud history.
Our team members always enjoyed the time we spent with Dennis at "The Arms," and he was a font of knowledge about the 40+ years he was employed there. Our success in preserving the history was, in large part, owed to Dennis Sanita.
He was a fine man, a key employee of Remington, and a true friend.

Wow!!! I'm so sad to hear about Dennis Sanita passing. Dennis was not only a Great Boss, a individual that always respected anyone he came in contact with, workers, Company Bosses, Customers, Sales people. Everyone just liked him. I worked with Dennis as my Supervisor in the Arms Service Area and also in the Custom Shop. I was always glad to see Him, outside and inside of the factory. Remington lost of the best supervisor they ever had. But HEAVEN GAINED A ANGEL, MAY GOD WELCOME YOU IN HIS PRESENCE. We will miss you DENNIS, here in this life. PATRICK

Condolences to Linda and family. Dennis was like a brother to me. I will always remember all the good times that we all shared with Dennis. Always remember getting togeather at Applebees for that Veterans Day dinner, and don´t forget the free car wash. He was always there to remind me of any upcoming events. RIP Dennis

There was no more helpful, knowledgeable, fun-loving, understanding, caring and loyal employee and friend than Dennis. So many in the Remington Sales Department owed Dennis a huge "Thank You" for rescuing them out of a situation of their own making! He never hesitated to get a part or stock or gun expedited at the last minute to salvage a situation. He made us all look good at one time or another. He was a key player in the "Glory Days" of the once great company. A successful company depends on great people and Dennis was one of the best. Ever.

I am grieved by the passing of Dennis Sanita. He was a long-time friend of mine through our association with "Preserving Remington's Proud History." Beginning in 1991, Dennis hosted historians from the Remington Society of America in their annual trek to "The Arms" to help management preserve the historic materials in the original Remington Archives. Even after his retirement, Dennis was our "go-to guy" whenever we had questions about the plant or the men and women who worked there. Several years ago, Dennis was inducted into the RSA's "Roll of Honor," something that he deserved without question. A "nicer guy" one could never hope to meet. Our world is a better place because of the life's work of Dennis Sanita. Rest in Peace, my Friend.
