Dennis J. "Denny" Sirna, born on November 16, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home in Belgium, WI, on November 29, 2025.
Dennis was a proud Army veteran who served as a Military Police Officer. After his military service, Dennis embarked on a fulfilling career as a police officer before transitioning to become an automotive technician for the City of Milwaukee with the Department of Public Works. His commitment to public service was evident through his professional endeavors, where he applied his skills and knowledge to better his community.
Dennis was known for his great sense of humor, always greeting those around him with a warm smile and infectious laughter. He possessed a remarkable toughness, often described as a "tough as nails" kind of guy. This resilient spirit made him a beloved figure among family and friends.
In his personal life, Dennis was an avid drag race car enthusiast, expressing a lifelong passion for muscle cars and quarter-mile racing. This enthusiasm brought him joy and connected him with many fellow car lovers, as he embraced the thrill of speed and competition.
Dennis is survived by his loving children, Jeanne, Christine, and Thomas. He was a proud Papa to Brody, Chase, Alexis, Crystal, Joseph (Courtney), and Mariah-Jean, as well as a cherished Great Papa to Alexander, Mathew, Lacey, and Josephine. He is also survived by his dear sister Kathy (the late Jerry) Musselman, his former wife and dear friend Lynn Sirna, along with many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
As we remember Dennis today, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Greenridge Chapel (4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield) on Friday, December 12 starting at 4PM until time of funeral service at 7PM.
