Dennis Temple 54 of the Sulphur Springs community, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023.
He was born on June 9, 1969 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Eloyce and Jimmy Temple. He attended Watson Chapel High School. He was a truck driver for various companies for almost 40 years. Mr. Temple excepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age. He began his walk of faith as a member of Whiteville Missionary Baptist Church, serving the Lord as a Youth Leader, Music Director and Sunday School Teacher for many years. He was currently a faithful member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church. He loved taking his children and grandchildren fishing and hunting and having a good laugh with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Marvin and Virginia Roberts, Doyle and Leola Temple, several Aunts and Uncles along with his beloved five chickens and dog Baby Girl.
Survivors include his wife BeeLinda; his brother, Jeff (Cheryl) Temple, children: Jennifer (Zach) Doolin, Angie Temple, Brittny Ferguson, Kellie (CJ) Merrel and Oren (Catherine)Ginn; grandchildren: Jeremiah, Ricky, Elaina, Victoria, Ma'kaela, Holden, Kay'cen, Kae'lanee, Brionna, Henley, Chandler; nephew Luke; (like a sister) Tammy Elmore and his beloved fur babies: Charlie Bug, Lillie Cat and grand-dog Veda.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for the great care they provided for Dennis.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29th, 2023 at 10:00am at First Immanuel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Ar. (The family will be at the church by 9:00am if you wish to visit). Officiating the service will be Bro. Robert Cossey and Jeff Temple. A private ceremony for immediate family will be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be his life long buddies; Monty Lamont, Wade Willis and Mike "Rooster" Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Immanuel Baptist Church in memory of Dennis.
