Dennis Thrasher Obituary
Mr. Thrasher was born on July 16, 1955, in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Angus Bubba Thrasher and the late Betty Jean Gleaton Thrasher. He was an R.E. Lee graduate of 1973 where he was the manager of the football team. He retired from Quad Graphics after 31 years, was an avid musician, and golfer. He loved Parrot Head, his band Trigger, the Atlanta Braves and Bobby Cox. Bird loved trips to Gatlinburg especially when it snowed, and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Patrick Thrasher of Thomaston, daughter, Chelsea Bryanna (Billy) Kirn of Jackson, son, Tristan Gable (Kailee Nixon) of Thomaston, brother, Mickey Thrasher of Thomaston, grandchildren, Juliet Rose Kirn, Isaac Leonidas Kirn, Charlie Gray Thrasher, Sutton Kade Thrasher, Marlie Nixon, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
