Dennis C. Thrush

AUBURN-Dennis C. Thrush, 74, passed away Sunday, February 23 in St. Vincent Hospital.

 

He leaves his wife of 54 years, Diana M. (Jodoin); two daughters, Lisa A. Haverty and her husband, John of Spencer and Deborah Thrush of Groton ; seven grandchildren, William, Danny, Josh, Jackie, Valerie, Maura and Amber; ten great-grandchildren, Leah, Ally, Maddox, Jameson, Jackson, Caragh, Christopher, Kaya, Nella, and Lliam and nieces and nephews. A daughter, Dawn Lussier and three siblings, Richard Thrush, Gary Thrush and Kathleen Sell predeceased him. He was born in Winchendon, son of William and Marion (Frazier) Lemay and graduated from Oxford High School.

 Dennis was a mailroom and ergonomics specialist for the Commerce Insurance Company, prior to that he worked for Automatic Rolls Company and Table Talk Pies Company. Dennis enjoyed watching and collecting movies, especially anything related to the Sci-Fi genre. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock music from his generation while going for a long ride. Such groups as the Beatles, the Moody Blues and the Doors, were some of his favorites.

 

Visiting Hours are Thursday, February 27 from 5 to 8pm with a Prayer Service at 730pm in Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans Inc. 69 Grove St., Worcester, 01605.
