Dennis Troy Obituary
WORCESTER-Dennis R. Troy, 76, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, July 22 at his home.
He leaves his husband of 15 years, Richard J. Darisse; a brother, Joseph J. Troy, Sr. and his wife, Barbara of Holden and many nieces and nephews. His siblings, Loretta A. Troy, Robert F. Troy and William F. Troy, Jr. predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of William F. and Alice M. (Wnuk) Troy.
Dennis worked for 37 years as a recreational therapist at Worcester State Hospital, before retiring. Dennis had two great passions in life. He loved collecting antiques and enjoyed jewelry. He was fond of saying “I love beautiful things”.
A Visiting Hour will be held Monday, July 28 from 10 to 11am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11am in Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Safe Homes Worcester at www.safehomesma.org
