Dennis N. Williams was born on June 17, 1943 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Russell Brown and Minnie Harville Williams.
On February 29, 1968, he was united in marriage to Sue Whitlow, who survives.
Dennis honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He later owned Williams Lumber Company, River City Concrete, and Williams Flooring. He loved his family, his faith, and the Marine Corps. Dennis loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Dennis N. Williams departed this life on March 1, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 82 years, 8 months, and 12 days.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Williams; sons, Wesley Williams (Andrena), Wade Williams (Jennifer), and Walton Williams; sister, Nell Brown Pizzo (Howard); grandchildren, Brad Walker (Rachel), Lindsay Droke (Jim), Morgan DeBerry, Weston Williams (Katie), Christian Kirk (Karlee), Wilson Williams (Bri), Whitney Wheeler (Hagen), Madison Carman (Haden), Edyn Williams, and Scarlett Williams; and great grandchildren, Walker Droke, Carson Droke, Caroline Hage, Malcom Tidwell, Allison Droke, Elizabeth Droke, Brenna Lee, Reed Kosar, Auden Kosar, Gus Wheeler, and Gemma Wheeler.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Walker and son in law, Jeff Walker.
