Dennis Zuniga Obituary
He was born on July 12, 1952 to Amado and Alejandra Zuniga, in Saginaw, Michigan.
He graduated from Saginaw High School, then he went to work at General Motors where he retired after 30 years. Dennis loved music and played the bass guitar and sang. He performed with a few bands eventually forming the "Doc Z" band. Dennis loved all kinds of music, but preferred country and "oldies". He also enjoyed golfing, boating and skiing, where he was once on a ski team.
Dennis was preceded in death by his dad, Amado "Tom" Zuniga; mother, Alejandra "Ollie" Zuniga and baby sister, Deborah Lynn Zuniga.
He is survived by his siblings, Thomas (Lorraine) Zuniga, Ruby Schuler, Elizabeth (Bruce) Isotalo; nieces and nephews, Kristina, Eddie (Diane), Laurie (Scott), Craig (Shannon), Lisa (Steven), Tricia (Steven), Michael and Amado, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 10:00a.m., until the time of service at 11:00a.m., at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw MI 48603.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Mausoleum and Cemetery, 6476 Midland Road, Freeland, MI 48623.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Dennis may be made to Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48607.
