Dennison Junior Lee

Mr. Dennison Junior Lee, age 89, of Vidalia, Georgia, passed away at his home peacefully on Sunday, December 7th. Born on January 31, 1936, in Erwin, North Carolina, Dennison faced early challenges with courage and faith. Following the passing of his parents, Dennison and Rosa Lee, he was lovingly raised by his Aunt Minnie, whose guidance and care profoundly shaped his life.

The love of his three siblings: Lilian Williams, Bertha Faircloth, and Jerry Faircloth was a cornerstone of his life, bringing him joy, support, and a lifelong connection.

As a young man, Dennison moved to Orlando, Florida, to embark on an adventure that would shape his future. There, he began his long and dedicated career with the Orlando Utilities Commission, where he worked faithfully for more than 35 years before retiring. It was also in Orlando that he met his beloved wife of 49 years, Mary Tucker Lee. Their union was marked by love, devotion, and the family they had long prayed for, a life built on commitment and shared dreams.

After retirement, Dennison devoted his time to his passions: repairing anything in need, crafting beautiful furniture, and using his hands and heart to care for his children and grandchildren. He loved to talk and never met a stranger, always greeting everyone with a smile, a story, a song, or a helping hand. His life was a testament to hard work, love, and service, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire all who knew him.

Dennison was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee; his parents, Dennison and Rosa Lee; and his sisters, Lilian Williams and Bertha Faircloth.

He is survived by his children, Amanda Mosley and husband Rusty of Vidalia, Georgia, Gary Lee and wife Patty of Callahan, Florida, and Donnie Lee and fiancé Susan Wilson of Lillington, North Carolina.

His legacy lives on with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren. Grandchildren: Austin Mosley, Ella Mosley, Rebecca Holman (Calvin Gordon), Gary Lee Jr. (Darla Lee), Jennifer Lee (Brian Stewart), Kenneth Lee, Ray Lee (Jill Lee), and Denise Winnie. Great-grandchildren: Hannah Lee, Autumn Burch (Kane Burch), Braxton Lee, Mayson Gordon, Areyna Lee, Axel Lee, Rhygel Stewart, Courtnie Lee, Kelsey Lee, Tyler Winnie, Tanner Winnie, Bailey Veltrop, and Megan Mohr. Great-great-grandchildren: RiverLynn Burch and Millie Burch.

Dennison Junior Lee will be profoundly missed, forever loved, and always remembered. He meant the world to his "only" daughter, Amanda Mosley. His memory, warmth, and spirit will continue to guide and inspire his family and all who were blessed to know him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00PM in the Chapel at the Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin, 904 Lucas Street, Erwin, NC. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park, S 18th Street, Erwin, NC 28339.
