Denny Siebler

John Dennis (Denny) Siebler, 83, was born in Aurora, NE on September 6, 1939 and passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022 in Gainesville, FL with his two sisters, Judy and Pam, at his side. A celebration of his life will be held for family and friends on July 12, 2023 at the FONT Community Center in New Troy, MI. Denny's family moved to New Troy in 1950, where they owned and operated the Trojan Grill. Living in the same building, every day was a social event, not unlike the TV show, Happy Days. Locals frequented the Grill in the '50s and '60s to enjoy hamburgers, fries, sodas, juke box, pinball machine, school supplies, and much more. Denny was a 1957 NTHS graduate who earned a mechanical engineering degree from Tri-State University in 1962. He was a talented musician who played trumpet, piano, organ, guitar, and ukulele, taking lessons for the latter two in Old Town, Chicago. The real fun began when Denny joined the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas in 2008 and spent his later years making children smile in north Florida, where he had settled in Fort White.
