Denton Wade Johnston

Denton Wade Johnston, 50, of Paragould, passed away on February 6, 2026, at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born September 6, 1975, in Paragould. Wade was a talented auto body technician who took pride in his craftsmanship. He loved being outdoors riding his Harley and camping. Watching football was a favorite pastime. Wade loved his family with all his heart and looked forward to spending time together.

Wade was preceded in death by his father, Jack Johnston; grandparents, Denton and Pauline Kellems; uncle, Harold Kellems; and sister, Cheryl Johnston.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Johnston; mother, Paulette Johnston; children, Madison Petty, Hannah Matthews, Taylar (Britton) McCall, and Dylan Johnston; brother, Wes (Tanga) Johnston; grandchildren, Lylah Larson, Nolan Ritzmon, Jayden Ritzmon, and Blake Matthews; aunt, Dian Marvin; uncle, Gus Marvin; and cousin, Guy Marvin.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time Thursday, February 12, at Shiloh United Methodist Church. The funeral service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Dewayne Young, Brent Riales, Kevin Ray, Remington Trowbridge, Brett McCarty, and Jeffrey Williams will serve as pallbearers. Toby Moore, Andrew Stewart, and Keith Johnston will serve as honorary pallbearers.
