In Loving Memory of Deodoro Perea
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Deodoro Perea, aged 86, on the morning of November 23, 2024, at his home in Ventura, CA. Surrounded by the love of his family, Deodoro's journey on earth came to a serene conclusion.
Deodoro is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Maria de Jesus Perea; his cherished sister, Maria Carmen Perea; his loving children Martin, Manuel, Diodoro, Abraham, Nancymarie (Lupita), Araceli, Pureza, and Leticia; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and an extended family who held him dear. His memory joins his son Jose; parents Jesus and Maria Guadalupe Perea; brothers Raul, Luis, and Miguel; and his sister Juventina Albarran, who preceded him in passing.
Born in Guanajuato, Mexico he immigrated to the United States as a young man. He traveled for work to Texas, Washington and Arkansas before settling in Ventura, CA, drawn by its mild climate. There, he and his wife raised their children. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, and loved spending time with his grandkids.
He lived a fulfilled life with the love of his family, and embraced the simple joys and profound connections that made his journey special. Deodoro will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.
