Deondre Quinton Boyer Sr. was born August 23, 1978 and passed away June 29, 2024. Deondre was born in Kent and Queen Anne's Hospital in Chestertown, MD to Ronald Martin and Cathleen Boyer.
In his younger years of life, he grew up in Millington, MD. In the later years he lived in Newark, DE. He received his education at Christiana High School and later in life was employed by Holman's Logistics in Perryville, MD. Deondre found most peace listening to music, fishing and riding his motorcycle. His presence has impacted many and everyone he interacted with creating laughter, always had a joke, and dancing being the life of the party at all family events. His smile and laugh would light up any room he walked into and fill it with happiness and love. Deondre was such a kindhearted and giving person who always made time to help friends and family in any way that he could. Deondre attended Victorious Life Church in Bear. He had begun to write a book entitled "Shadows in My Rear View".
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald E. Martin, grandparents Gladys B. Boyer, Thomas L. Boyer, Martha Johnson and Peter Lee. aunts and uncles Wanda Boyer-Miles, Mitzi Boyer, Wanda Johnson, Carmen Harmon, Margaret Watson, Howard Boyer, Norman Martin and Curtis Raison.
Deondre leaves to cherish his memories with his mother Cathleen Boyer; his children Lashon Garnett, Dareon Johnson, Deondre Quinton Boyer Jr. and Ondrea Boyer. He leaves to mourn his brother Maurice Boyer and his sisters Marcel Boyer and Quanisha Luke; aunts and uncles Joyce Johnson, Evelyn Ward, William Martin, Katherine Wilson, Nioka Hinson, Nancy Thomas, Howard Henson, Thomas Boyer and Katherine Wilson. Deondre was blessed to have a large family and his memories will continue to live on through his grandchildren: Dareon Johnson Jr, Leilani Johnson, Reina Fogan and Lei' Aulani (Lay-ow-Lani) Pennewell. He was and will forever be the "favorite Uncle" loved by his nieces Anijah Wheeler, Marshae Boyer, Nionna Custis and Makayla Boyer; his nephews Deonte Boyer, Maurice Boyer Jr., Norman Custis and Makhi Boyer and his great nieces and nephews. Also, leaves to cherish his memory a devoted girlfriend Sharita Brooks and best friends Preston Lum, Deven Lum, Fernando Sierra, Mark & Laurie Boulanger, and a host of other friends. Deondre's good times and memories will be cherished by many of his friends.
A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Graves Chapel UAME Church, 10280 Big Stone Road, Millington, MD 21651, where there will be a viewing from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
