Derek D. Barczak

Derek D. Barczak, 43, of Derry, NH, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at his home in Derry, NH. He was born on September 2, 1982, in Lawrence, MA, to Daniel and Susanne (Routhier) Barczak.

Derek met the love of his life, Colleen, in 2006, and the two were later married in 2012. He spent over 24 years working at Lucciano's in Londonderry and was treated like a member of family by his beloved coworkers. When away from his work, Derek enjoyed playing video games, building Legos, cracking jokes and cheering on the Red Sox.
Most notably, Derek was a family man who loved his four boys more than anything. He was also a dad to many four-legged companions over the years and had a deep kinship with his many fur babies. From new experiences like fishing with his son to unwinding at home with his loved ones, family was central to Derek's life. He coveted creating memories with his children and was tremendously proud of them.

Derek's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for Lou and Tina of Lucciano's in Londonderry, NH. The love and genuine kindness that they showed to Derek throughout his time with them made more of an impact than they will ever know.

In addition to his beloved wife, Colleen (Belanger,) Derek is survived by his boys, Ryan, Aaron, Connor, and Aidan; his mother and stepfather, Susanne Barczak and Steven Bradley; father, Daniel Barczak; sister, Candice Barczak; niece, Olivia; grandparents, Gerard and Betty Routhier; as well as many members of his extended family.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Stanley and Charlotte Barczak.

Services will remain private for the family.
