I would like to say that Derek Alexander Maze was an amazing cousin and very shy but loved to play tackle fights and i can't explain how much I miss him so much and i don't know when i found out he died my heart just sank because he was an amazing person and an amazing helper and a very sweet kid and all of us cousins aunts and uncles and grandparents miss him so much and my favorite part between our bond is we shared Pixie Sticks with each other and we watched movies together played games with him and mostly tickle fighting I wish you were here with me i miss you so much!

We were very saddened to hear of the loss of your son Derek. We remember seeing pictures of him growing up as well as the stories of his activities. I am sure he had to know how proud of him you all were and how loved he was; it was very apparent to those you spoke to as well.
