Derek E. McClure, age 43 of Munfordville, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at his home. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a petroleum technician with Spatco. He was ambitious, funny, a great friend, very smart, caring, and talented.
He is the son of Dagmar McClure, Munfordville, KY and the late Donald Edward McClure.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Alicia McClure, Munfordville, KY; his three children, Samuel McClure, Grand Forks, ND, Raelyn and River McClure, Munfordville, KY; sister, Stacy Bigler, Sonora, KY; his uncle, Ted McClure (Karen); cousins and other extended family also survive.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM CT on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Honoring the wishes of Derek, cremation will follow and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haven Animal Shelter, the Hart County Veterans Committee, The Ronald McDonald House, or the American Cancer Society in his memory.
