Derek MYERS Obituary
Derek graduated from Lebanon High School, lived and worked in Lebanon his entire life. He enjoyed cooking, going fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
Derek believed in the grace of God, choosing to see the good in everyone. In his words, "Trying to be a decent human being."
Derek is survived by his son Michael of the home; his mother Mabel Myers; his brother Marlan Myers and his wife Linda, all of Lebanon, Missouri; his sisters Vicki Myers of California, Missouri and Lisa Myers of Springfield, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Myers; brothers Steven and David Chastain; and one sister Carole Chastain Waterman.
There are no services planned at this time for Derek Shawn Myers.
His body is to be cremated under direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel.

Derek, it wasn't but a week ago you were with us celebrating Christmas, like we always do every year! Finding out you had passed away is so devastatingly, heartbreaking! You've been in my life and our family's life for the past 20+ years. Michael and you are our family! I have so many memories of you with us, sharing so many great moments in life together! I will miss you more than words can express! May you rest in peace!
