Derek Schwemm Obituary
Derek Jay Schwemm born in Illinois, died in Wisconsin, at the age of 60.
Derek grew up in Fox River Grove, IL and attended Cary Grove High. After graduation, he went to work in retail and manufacturing where he was a proud and dedicated employee of Gasser’s and Cummins. He will be remembered for his love of the great outdoors, woodworking, family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and JoAnn Schwemm. He is survived by his three siblings, Della Fullmer, Debra (Michael) Lekki, Dean Schwemm and several nieces and nephews.
Ceremony of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory, 100 Park Pl., Platteville, Wisconsin.
