Mr. Derek Michael Whitlock, age 33 of Athens, Ga., passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022.
He was born on April 10, 1989 in Commerce, Ga., he was a builder in the construction industry and of the Baptist faith.
Left to cherish his memories are; mother, Lauren Whitlock of Royston, Ga., children, Keelan, Kaylee, Jazmyn and Chloe Whitlock, step-children, Joshua Shedd, Caleb Adams, Lyndsee Adams, siblings, Crystal (Chad) Smith of Athens, Ga., Destiny Maddox of Kennesaw, Ga., and Scott Far of Winder, Ga., aunt and uncle, Felicia and Shannon Cox, niece, Katie, nephew, Karter and cousins, Christopher, Katlin and Courtney.
The body is at the funeral home and the family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2022 3-5 p.m.
Following the visitation cremation will take place.
Family members will be at their respective homes.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
