Derrick Green

Derrick Green was the son of the late Donald Peterson and Patricia A. Green. He was born on January 12, 1977, in West Chester, PA. Derrick entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2025, at hishome. He was united in holy matrimony to Nekisha Johnson Green.

Derrick was educated in the public school system of KershawCounty. He was a member of the International Praise Church ofGod where he was a part of the media ministry. Derrick is preceded in death by his father, Donald Peterson; brother, Donald Peterson Jr.; sister, Regina Peterson; grandfather, Willie Green and his grandmother, Katie Green.

Those left to cherish his memories are his son, Deontre' Green (Kaitlyn Martin) of Camden, SC; daughter, Aionna Green of home; six sisters, Cissandra Dennis of Camden, SC, Felicia Greene of Sumter, SC, Ebony Greene of Sumter, SC, Laverne (Terrell) Chandler, Darlene Gleaves, and Ramona Jackson Burlington of NJ; four brothers, Eric (Sarah) of Warrenton, GA, Justin Greene of Sumter, SC, Ryan Greene and Bryan Green of Dubuque, IA; Mother-in-law, Becky Johnson of Elgin, SC; Father-in-law, James Johnson Sr. of Lancaster, SC; Sisters-in-law, Ashley Johnson of Elgin, SC, Janear Johnson of Conway, SC and
Dorothy Washington of Camden, SC; two brothers-in-law, Johnson of Camden, SC and James Johnson Jr of
Conway, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
