Macon, Georgia - Desmond Robert Schneider passed away in Macon on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 at the age of 42. He was born December 24, 1979 in Vidalia, GA and has been a resident of Macon, GA most of his adult life. He was a technological wizard employed by NTT Data that provided service and support of state government offices in the Macon area. He enjoyed many different things from travel, dining out and spending time with family and friends. Desmond was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Terrell J. Schneider of Hawkinsville, GA and mother, Gale Tapley of Vidalia, GA. Desmond is survived by Ella, his very devoted fur baby; his loving sister, Melissa R. Boyd-Sewell of Albany, GA; nephews, Glen Boyd (Robin) of Beaufort, SC. and Bobby Boyd (Hannah) of Greenville, SC; great nephews, Brian Boyd and Troop Boyd of Pooler, GA., Teegan Brooks of Collins, GA; and great nieces, Brooklyn Boyd of Vidalia, GA.,Willa and Ruby Boyd of Greenville, SC; his adoring life partner, Brian Tidwell of Macon, GA; several aunts, uncles and cousins and several friends who he loved and loved him as family. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-5pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at The Downtown Bistro 101 E Meadows Street, Vidalia, GA. All are welcomed!
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Schneider family.

Desmond, you were an awesome bestie. Thank you for being such a huge & vital part of our lives. We'll miss our weekly show marathons. Isaiah graduated & we made sure you were there as you planned to be. He had these photos under his cap. We miss you so much already. We'll love you forever & always.
