Destany Nicole Maggard

Destany Nicole Maggard, age 29, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at her home in Three Way, TN. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home.

Destany was born on March 1, 1996, in Jackson, TN to the late Sue Ann Kapitancek. She was a devoted daughter and sister, Aunt and cousin. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially playing games. Destany was a “people person”, never meeting a stranger and always able to make a new friend. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother: Brenda Lee Maggard.

Destany is survived by one brother: Cody Kapitancek of Three Way, TN; one aunt: Alicia Birdwell of Medina, TN; her grandfather: Don Davis of Cottage Grove, TN; her stepfather: Robert Kapitancek of Three Way, TN; two uncles: Michael Maggard of Lebanon, TN, Christopher Maggard of Collierville, TN; one niece: Sophia Kapitancek of LaVergne, TN; and six cousins: Molly, Allie and Bentley Birdwell all of Medina, TN, Leah Maggard of Lebanon, TN, Matthew Maggard of MS and Avery Maggard of Collierville, TN.

The Maggard family are honoring her wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
