Destiny Grace Gordon, 40, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Born in Lynchburg on March 9, 1982, she was a daughter of Margaret Ann Mason and the late Courtney Shelton Gordon.
In addition to her mother, Destiny is survived by her stepfather, Frank Gowen; fiancé, David Ray Trent; children, Jayden, Jackson and Jacob Gordon; brother; Joel Shelton Gordon and wife, Ariel of Alleghany Co.; half-sister; Haley Bortzer and her daughter; Lilly Marie Kerr of Lynchburg.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday December 2, 2022 at New Prospect Baptist Church, 2209 Buffalo Springs Tpke, Monroe, Va. with Rev. Douglas Turner officiating.
