Deva Harper was born in La Grande, Oregon July 11, 1935 to George and Ruth Rogers she graduated salutatorian from Elgin High School in Oregon and went off to St. Anthony's Nursing School in Pendleton, Oregon to earn her nursing degree. It was there she met and married the love of her life Bobby Harper. They had an adventurous life for 56 years as we were an Army family.
Mom was a member of the NCO wives club, Ft. Bliss Emergency Relief, and a docent at the Museum of Archaeology. In her 60's she went on a dig mom also volunteered in school, as PTA President, and showing films of our travels for Geography class. She was our biggest supporter in school for classes and sports. She is survived by her 3 children, Robert (Janet), Teresa (Hans) and Gregory (Marcy) 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
