Little DeVan was my first cousin on my mothers side, he and his 2 younger brothers were like siblings to me. I am sad to have learned of his passing. Over the years life caused drifting, and I had not seen him in years, yet wanted to convey my heartfelt sympathy to his family. So very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of DeVan's passing. I knew him just a little at AmSouth Bank. Loved his sense of humor and his goodness to everyone; just a great person. God bless his friends and family.

I will always remember our younger days of roaming the halls of Canterbury Church with brothers Jimmy and Garry.........after hours!! Do not remember the janitors name but rest assured, he knew ours. Solid Friend Forever.

My condolences to Mrs. DeVan Ard & his children. Physically Mr. Ard is no longer here. Remember love never dies and with that reassurance he will live in your hearts forever. Lord Jesus has called his servant home. Home for eternity with our Lord Jesus! Celebrate the victory and live in the hope of such glory! Tears will shed but hope will reveal the legacy in which you have been gifted. Mrs. Ard love captured and sustained you now that love honors you with legacy. The children of Mr. Ard - you carry a part of his uniqueness. Continue the race with a badge of honor only a Ard could ever understand! In the midst of your journey the strength once owned by your father will be revealed in you!
Love,
Brenda

DeVan Ard always spoke to me with a gentleman spirit. A teller back in the days of Reliant Bank I will remember the legacy of DeVan Ard by his personable spirit. His direct effort to embrace the members of his team that were the framework of the canvas of Reliant Bank´s legacy. Though the bank has evolved into United Community Bank the remembrance of this financial institution is in the wonders of its path. Banking is not my calling though the tapestry of my life is threaded with the experiences of those days I served in honor of Mr. DeVan Ard. Rest my friend. Allow our Lord to cuddle your soul. The storms you could not fight are now won!!
Love,
