Devan Gregory "Mo’enestoohe- Whistling Elk" Sanchez

Devan Gregory Sanchez, (Mo'enestoohe- Whistling Elk), was born to Lou Ann Mason and Greg Sanchez on July 31, 1991 in Billings, Montana. Devan grew up in Muddy Creek, Lame Deer and Billings area's. Devan attended schools in Lame Deer and Billings. He then finished his education at Senior High in Billings. He liked to play guitar and working with his hands. Devan worked numerous small jobs, and last was employed as security at the Tribal Building. In difficult times Devan always had a good heart and was always concerned about the welfare of family and friends. He loved and claimed all of his children and endeavored to be the best father he could. He frequently called his grampa Bill to find out how he was and always offered to help with projects.
Devan is survived by his children Keirah Wahl, Xavier Sanchez, his parents mother Lou Ann Mason, father Gregory Sanchez, step mother Stephanie Whitwolf, step mother Karla Two Two, his brothers Joshua Sanchez, Shaun Sanchez, Vincent Mason, Tyrese Whitewolf, Zackery Bearcloud, and Oken Bearcomesout, His sisters Kaysha Wahl, Defina Gonzales, Gwendolyn Whitewolf, Promiss Mason and Keira Sanchez. Devan is recognized by his family who took the journey before, including younger brother Aaron Sanchez, paternal grandparents Charles and Marie Sanchez, Cousins Clayton Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, John Jr. Sanchez and Niece Amathyst Sanchez. Maternal Grandmother Connie Wolcott and Aunt Alexandra Whitecrane, Winslow Whitecrane, and Micheal Foote.
His family on the Mason linkage are his grampa Bill Mason and gramma Mary Ann. Uncles Clayton Mason, Keith Elkshoulder and Shaun Elkshoulder. Aunties Sarah Mason and Shauna Elkshoulder.
