DeVoe Treadwell Obituary
October 20, 1971 - March 5, 2024
Wichita, Kansas - Devoe Treadwell, attorney-at-law, 52, loving father, son, and brother, passed away recently. Services have been held.
DeVoe was preceded in death by his brother: Curtis (and Curtis's family: Jennifer, Patrick, and Hunter Treadwell); sister: Paula Treadwell-Schneider; and grandparents: Bud and Tilda Treadwell and Byron and Katherine Short.
He is survived by his children: Nikolette, Isaiah, and Curtis and their mother: Natira; parents: Paul and Virginia Treadwell; sister: Mary Treadwell; nephews and nieces: Shane Wallace, Christina Wallace (and their son: Simon James), Olivia Arpin, Kyler Arpin, Hannah Wallace, Kadee Treadwell (and her children: Calvin, Claire, and Colin), Kristopher Treadwell, and T.J. Harvey.
DeVoe graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of San Diego. DeVoe earned his law degree at the University of Tulsa and received multiple legal honors including: 2021 Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorney; 2021 Best Trial Lawyer; 2019, 2020, 2021 Top Ranking DUI Defense Attorney; 2019 Top 10 Criminal Law Attorneys for Client Satisfaction; and 2019 Top 10 DUI / DWI Attorneys for Client Satisfaction.
At the family's request, memorial donations in honor of DeVoe may be sent to the: In Love of God and Neighbor Fund c/o Catholic Charities of Wichita.

I really can´t believe this, he was a really good friend of my, I didn´t multiple projects in he´s home, he saw me grow up as a business onwer, I met him when I was a teenager, he help me in few traffic violations

I was very sorry to read about Devoe's passing. I would occasionally see him in court, and would talk to him from time to time. He always had a smile on his face, and a nice word to say. He was a very successful and well received Lawyer. He will be missed.

I used Mr. Treadwell for traffic citations twice in 2021and I have to say that he was a great attorney! We will miss you sir, but your memory will live on!!!

I had the good luck to grow up across the street from DeVoe and the Treadwell family. DeVoe and his twin brother Curtis were
Wonderful kids who were truly admired throughout our close neighborhood. It was a distinct pleasure to watch him as an adult, practice law in Sedgwick County. He was a very talented
Attorney who zealously represented those who sought his assistance. I was proud to know him as a kid across the street and as an accomplished attorney who deeply loved his children, sisters, brother Curtis and family and his parents. May God bless the Treadwell family and all who were fortunate to cross paths with DeVoe.

I have worked with DeVoe for many years. He was always a passionate advocate for his clients, and usually obtained very good results for them. He was a good person, and a great friend to many. My condolences to his family. To his children especially I would want them to know that there was much goodness in their father.
