Devon Brady Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Niles on Feb. 26, 2026.
Devon Edward Brady, 34, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Niles, Michigan.

Devon was born on March 6, 1991, in Berrien Center, Michigan, to Richard Edward Burger Jr. and Stacy Lynette (Brady) Mitchell.

Devon was preceded in death by his father, Richard Edward Burger Jr.; grandfather, Jim Brady, and great-grandmother, Lois "Nanny" Pinkston.

Left to cherish the memory of Devon is his loving wife, Kylee Jordan (Antisdel) Brady, who shared 18 years of his life on this earth; son, Hudson Dean Brady; siblings, Aubrie (Corey) Olkowski, Gavin (Ashley) Morris, and Bryce (Marissa Mark) Morris; grandmother, Paulette Brady, and parents, Stacy Mitchell and Jon Mitchell.

He was known for his quick wit and unapologetically crude sense of humor, always ready with a remark that could make you laugh-even if you definitely shouldn't be. He was gifted with a photographic memory and loved recalling random movie, music, and sports facts, often reminiscing and laughing about them with his siblings. You could often hear the four of them reciting full lines from an old movie and carrying on in what felt like their own language.

Though he carried himself with a tough exterior, those who knew him best understood the deep kindness and compassion within. Beneath that strong presence was a soft heart, always ready to offer quiet support, encouragement, and love.

Above all else, Devon loved his family. They were the center of his world and his greatest source of joy. He was an amazing father, and becoming a father was the proudest moment of his life. He spoke often of his son, Hudson, with admiration and love, finding his greatest fulfillment in guiding, protecting, and celebrating him. His devotion to his family was unwavering.

Devon's legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the memories he helped create, and the deep love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life for Devon will be held at a later date.
