Devon Shae Lansing, age 33, of New Vienna, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, near Wilmington. He was born May 14, 1992, in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Brian Keith Lansing and Melissa Beth (Doyle) Deer. Devon had a big heart, was the life of the party, and being a jokester, he loved to make people laugh. He could talk with anyone and was very vocal with his hands. Like his father, who he loved spending time with, Devon loved to draw and had a very creative talent. Devon was an extremely loving man; he loved spending time with his family. He was a great dad, son, and brother, and he loved Whitney dearly. Devon is survived by his wife Whitney; parents, Brian (Natasha) Lansing of Bainbridge and Melissa (Eric) Deer of Wilmington; children, Haylee Lansing, Kaelin Morrison, Harmony Britain, Nevaeh Lansing, Noah Lansing, and Devon Memphis Lansing, Jr.; siblings, Skylar (Kristoffer) Maynard of Wilmington, Baylee (Chanse Page) Deer of Wilmington, Ashton Fry of Hillsboro, and Tori Penwell of Springfield; grandmother Mashell Laymon of New Vienna; grandfather Allen O'Dell of Oklahoma; great grandmother Jeanette Laymon of New Vienna; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins; and numerous friends. Devon is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Kaye Doyle; great grandfather Jacque Laymon; and uncle Robert Collett. Funeral services and visitation will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
