Devon Neil Witcher, 28, of Cabot, left us suddenly on Sunday, August 11, 2024 due to injuries sustained from a car accident. He was born August 21, 1995 in Searcy to Michael Wayne Witcher and Tonya Marie Evans. What can you say about Devon? He loved life. He lived it to the fullest. Family and friends were #1 in his life. Devon pushed anyone he met to better themselves, especially kids and teens. He didn't want anyone to make the mistakes he did earlier in his life. Devon wanted the simple things in life: a family, a house and a truck. He worked hard trying to accomplish those dreams. On his off time, he enjoyed fishing and music. He carried his speaker to any fishing spot he went to because he didn't want to have one without the other.
Devon's heart was the biggest. If anyone needed help, he was there. It was only fitting that he was a registered organ donor, thinking of others even in death. Devon may have only lived twenty-eight short years, but the impact he made will be here for years to come. Devon was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Witcher, II.
Those left to cherish his memory and to miss him dearly are his parents, Tonya Garrett (Brian Dunham) and Michael Witcher (Sheila); sister, Madelyn Witcher; brother, Justin Witcher and Nick Manry (who was like a brother); grandparents, David and Donna Evans and Carl and Sharon Cummings; great-grandmother, Frances Roach; girlfriend, Stacy Collins and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
