Devondre Rashad Knight Shoemo was born on January 2, 1999 in Pensacola, Florida. He was
the son of Yolanda Knight and Pierre Shoemo.
He grew up and lived a happy life in Pensacola and attended Escambia County Schools.
Graduating from Pine Forest High School in 2018. He enjoyed computers, gaming, making
graphic art and designs, making music with his friends and watching Anime with his brothers and
friends. And enjoyed binge watching their favorite TV shows with his mother. He was happy
working at the Waterfront Thrift Store as support staff until his health begin to fail.
Devondre accepted Christ in his life as his personal Lord and Savior
People would often say to his mother that he was a good person, very kind and sweet. A great
friend to many. He was the best son, brother and friend to many and all. He will be greatly
missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by, loving grandmother, Clara Marshall: great grandmother, Louise
Howard: great grandparents, Abe and Shirley Shoemo, and newborn brother.
Devondre leaves behind his loving and devoted mother, Yolanda Knight and father Pierre
(Tasha) Shoemo. Six brothers, Jamal Knight, Anthony Stallworth, Kaleb Shoemo, Josiah
Shoemo, Micah Shoemo, and Elijah Shoemo. Four sisters, Kezia Tanner, Nevaeh Shoemo, Layla
Shoemo, and Tierra Shoemo. Eight bonus brothers and sisters. His maternal grandparents,
Jimmie (Linda Joyce) Knight, and paternal grandparents Tobbie (Collis) Latimore. And a host of
other caring, loving relatives and wonderful friends.
