DeWayne Allen Dirschel, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2024.
DeWayne was born on January 13, 1964 at Sauk Centre Hospital. He graduated from Melrose High School in 1982. DeWayne lived in Melrose all his life. He worked at various places in Melrose, St. Cloud, and Cold Spring. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking, gardening, and art.
He is survived by his mother and stepdad, Sally and Jim Schmidt of Sauk Centre; father, Dale Dirschel of Melrose; daughter, Malorie Dirschel of Grey Eagle; three grandchildren, Adelyn, Adonis, and Daxton; siblings, Dawn (Marc) Noviello of Cumming, Georgia, Daniel (Theresa Bolstad) Dirschel of Alexandria; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
To Our Son, My Dad, Our Grandpa, Our Brother, Our Uncle, Our Great Uncle, Our Nephew, Our Cousin, and Our Friend, we say Good-bye and Rest in Peace.
