To the Dexter Wilberg Family:
We felt so bad the word of Dexter's passing didn't make it to Castle Dale in time for us to attend the funeral. My dad, Wayne Wilberg, always talked so highly of his cousin Dexter and the fun times they had when they would come to the ranch for a visit. I remember what a happy and cheerful man he was when we would see him at the Wilberg Reunion in Orem. We send our most heartfelt sympathy to all of you!

I was at the service on Saturday and it was so beautiful and perfect. I feel very honored to have known a man as wonderful and perfect as Dexter, and to know his family. The talks and the singing were all so beautiful and touched everyone's hearts. I'm sure Dexter was smiling down at all of you.

To the Dexter Wilberg Families. With joy in our hearts for knowing a GREAT person as Dexter. I recall my Dad and Mom, Lloyd and Leah Wilberg stating what a GOOD MAN He IS. I remember how great it was to see Him at the Wilberg reunions we would have at the park in Orem. He always expressed a great warmth, kindness, and Love for all.
We share in your Joy of His GOOD LIFE, and the sadness of His passing. We express our heartfelt sympathy and hope that the kind words or your families and friends will make this difficult time a bit easier to bear.

Dexter was consistently one of the best parts of my day at Novell. The sound of the mail cart coming down the hall would immediately brighten my day as I knew Dexter's smiling happy face would be appearing shortly. Dexter truly exemplified integrity, caring, optimism and goodness. He wore his deep love for his family on his sleeve and his face would absolutely beam when he talked of them. He is unforgettable. Our prayers of love and peace to his family.

Dexter was a wonderfully optimistic, loving and friendly person. It always brightened my day at Novell to see him and visit with him. I feel fortunate to have known him. He is now blessing the lives of those on the other side. Although I'm sure he will be watching over his family that he so loves.

I only worked a few months with Dexter at Novell, but he touched my heart from the moment I met him.
As I was getting to know Dexter, I learned he served in the Merchant Marines during the War. My father also served in that branch during the war, so as I got to know Dexter more, he helped me draw closer to me own father. This was more special to me than I can adequately express.
I am grateful for knowing Dexter and sorry we did not have more time together. I know he is with his eternal family and enjoying the blessings of the knowledge of the gospel he gained while on earth. He was a very special man to me.

Mandi, Megan, Maelyn, and Melissa,
Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you. It is a difficult thing when a loved one moves on to the next life. You've had a tough few months in that regard: loosing both grandpas in such a short time. You all have such great love for family. And I have always admired the way you love and respect your grandparents. Your Grandpa Wilberg was consistently kind and pleasant to be around. His positive demeanor made everyone feel lifted up and happy. He will be missed by all who knew him.
I Love You All,
Michelle Brett Rohbock

To Elaine, Mike, Pat, Kim and Jan:
I was saddened to hear of Dexter's passing, but the light he leaves behind will and must shine on. Throughout my life I have had the privilege of knowing only a few men who have set such an example of love and patience to all. Of those few, even less have loved Family, God, and Country with more zeal and determination than that of Dexter's. Truly men of that caliber not only "talked the talk but walked the walk". By doing so, they set an example for all to follow. To me, Dexter is one of those men, which I sensed the first time I really had a chance to talk to him in an aisle at the "Wilberg Department Store". He impressed me then as did up to the last time I saw him, always speaking with humility and sincerity for the well being of others.
As his family grew, so did his challenges, but he overcome those with love and patience. He loved his children and gave many sweet memories to his grand and great grandchildren, loving and respecting them. To me he always had kind words to say, a sincere handshake and hug when we had the opportunity to be together.
I believe, although he is sad to leave behind those he loves, his joy of being with loved ones elsewhere, make the passage easier.
Thank you for sharing him with me, giving me the honor of admiring and loving him; both from near and far, for knowing him makes me try to be a better person. I am sure I speak for my family when I say, " He will be missed, but not forgotten"!
My Best to you all,
Nolan & Cindy Wilkins

Dexter always took a moment to say hello in the most genuine, sincere way. I've never met anyone quite like that. In 6 years at Novell I can't remember a single time that he did not make a point to brighten my day with his smile and cheerfulness. What a great man. He will be truly missed.

I could scarcely believe the news when I heard of Dexter's passing. He was such an outgoing man with great ambition, dedication, and desire to live life to the fullest. He amazed me with various outings he and his wife would take together. I will miss Dexter tremendously and our ping pong lunches-I envy Dexter's grandchildren, for I always wished to call him grandpa.

I still remember Dexter when I worked for WordPerfect. He had worked in the same department delivering mail. Everytime I see him here at Novell he always said Hi. I was surprise to see the message that he passed away. His kind smiling face just said alot about what kind of a man he is. He will be missed here but what a great reunion on the other side. May the peace of our Savior be upon his family.

Dexter is a close friend and I will miss him dearly. We became friends at work and always shared our favorite movies with each other. It was kind of a tradition... Monday would come around and we would tell the other person what GREAT movie we saw that weekend. He would also come watch me play volleyball. He was my biggest fan and always cheered for me to win! He radiated happiness and love and I know his loved ones on the other side are happy to have such a wonderful man near them again. For all of us still here, we will really miss his smile, his compassion, his friendship, and the love he so freely gave.

My prayers are with Genie and her family during this time.
