Diamanto "Mandy" Prokos

Diamanto "Mandy" Prokos (nee Kostourou), age 88, born in Kandyla, Arcadia, Greece, passed away on January 6, 2024 surrounded by grandchildren and family. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Prokos. Loving mother of Andy, Frank (Ourania), Gus (Aspasia). Proud grandmother of Christina, Angelica, Amanda, Evan, Nicholas, Tommy, Vageli and Stavroula. Dear sister of the late Yianni (Thanoula), the late Koula (the late Manolis) and the late Pano (Vasiliki). Dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Diamanto's life was devoted to her family and her faith. She was well known for her welcoming spirit, warm hugs, bountiful garden, love of dancing, grand feasts and signature baking. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation, Friday, January 12, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral service at 12:00PM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 24411 Rampart Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida. Internment Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the family will be generously donated to the Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Center in Diamanto Prokos name.
