Dian Dee Whitaker (née Klifman), born on February 2, 1950, in Clinton, Iowa, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in Grand Junction, Michigan. She was 75 years old.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.. at Filbrandt Chapel 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090.

Dian's life was marked by creativity, resilience, and a deep love for her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Whitaker; her son, James Taylor; and her brother, Randy Klifman. Her memory lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished.
She is survived by her daughters Nicole Vrhel and Victoria Reed (with husband Dustin), and her sons Corey Whitaker (with wife Stephanie), Dominic Whitaker, and Steven Whitaker. Dian was a proud grandmother to Meghan (with husband Brandon), Casey, Alexander, Oliver, Noah, Delilah, Athalya, Zayne, and Haylee. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Taylor, Brayden, Rowen, and Evy.
Dian had a vibrant spirit that shone through in everything she did. Summers found her happily immersed in the pool-her favorite place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. She had a passion for arts and crafts and especially loved working with ceramics. Her creative flair extended into entrepreneurship as well; she once owned a dress shop where her eye for style and detail came to life.
Her warmth and creativity left lasting impressions on those around her. Whether crafting something beautiful by hand or spending time with loved ones by the water's edge, Dian brought joy to every moment.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
