Diana Calegari a loving mother and wife and resident of
Locust Grove, VA died unexpectedly on March 12th at the young age of 87. Diana was predeceased by her adoring husband Frank.
Diana is survived by her daughters and their families; Donna DeBoer and her husband Steve and their children and grandchildren, Lindsay, Chip, Bill, Billi, and Frankie; Lindi Apperson and her husband Ricky and their children and grandchildren BJ, Megan, Kerry, Nicci, Christine, Jonathan, Marley, Lola, Willow, Liam and Declan, who lovingly refer to her as Darlin; Susan Harper and her husband Jeff and their children Phillip, Molly and Jonathan; Diana Grzeszczak and her husband Steve and their son Zane. Diana is also survived by her sister, Patricia Bova and her children and grandchildren; Patti Ann and her children, Sam, Parker, Hudson, Peyton; Frankie and his wife Debbie, and their son Nicolas; Jamie Lee and her husband Chris and their children Annabelle, Mia, and Mason who lovingly refer to her Aunt Dinah.
Diana was stunningly beautiful, inside and out. When Diana was younger she was a graceful ballet dancer who still to this day loves to dance. She was an avid reader who enjoyed cooking, reading, playing bridge and mahjong but most of all she adored spending time and found much joy being with her family and dear friends. Diana was so very loved and will be so very missed by all whose life she touched.
A visitation for Diana will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 17 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
