Diana Fenlon

Diana Wilson Fenlon passed peacefully surrounded by family on November 11, 2025. Diana was born in Norman, Oklahoma to Harvey and Dean Wilson (nee Brakefield). She spent her childhood years bouncing between Oklahoma and Africa for her father's drilling jobs in Libya and Mozambique. When Diana was in 9th grade, Harvey accepted a position with Aramco and the family moved to Saudi Arabia. Diana graduated from The Bahrain School, East Central University, and finally The University of Oklahoma with a master's degree in education.
She taught for one year in Grove, Oklahoma before accepting her own position with Aramco in Ras Tanura, an hour and a half from her parents. Shortly after moving to RT, another teacher introduced Diana to a handsome helicopter pilot that would become the love of her life. Denny and Diana were married on September 17, 1983 in Moore, Oklahoma in the backyard of Diana's parents' home and remained devoted until the day of her passing.
After retirement, Denny and Diana have made their home in Grove, where she loved to take her grandkids to see wildlife such as turtles, eagles and Patricia Island tigers. Diana was a vibrant soul with a huge heart; a mom to anyone who needed one. Her home was always open for a great meal, a boat ride or a "rousing game of volleyball."
She told the best stories and was well known for her chocolate pie and her pep talks. But don't ask her what she thinks, or she'll tell ya! She loved her life, especially the years spent living in Saudi Arabia. Her Aramco friends were special to her, and she spoke of them often. She especially loved Christmas there, as being in Saudi Arabia kept the holiday personal and within people's homes. Diana loved traveling and felt fortunate to experience the world and expose her children to unique cultures.
Diana is survived by her husband Denny, daughter Rachael and husband Jeff Johnson, son Michael and wife Chelsea Fenlon, son Jarrod and Kelly Leach, sister Penny Wilson, brother Joe Wilson and wife Luann, and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Diana was involved in the community everywhere she lived through charity and volunteer work, bridge groups and athletic activities.
A Celebration of Life for Diana will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Nichols-Stephens Funeral Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma.
