She was born on October 4, 1947, to Marvin and Mildred (Carroll) Shepard in Hamilton, Missouri, where she lived most of her life.
Diana graduated from Penney High School, Hamilton, in 1965. On January 7, 1967, she married Johnny Gaume of Hamilton. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hamilton. She lived a life of resilience and gratitude, an example we should all live by.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents and brother.
Diana is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Cort) Schweder and Terri Moore, both of Hamilton; grandchildren, Zachary Sipple, Holli (James) Scott, Weston, MO.; Chris Moore and Caleb Schweder of Hamilton; great-granddaughters, Averi Scott and Emma Moore; a brother, Marvin Wayne (Nancy) Shepard, of Excelsior Springs, MO.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Hamilton Methodist Church at 11 a.m., on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church on January 6, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Arrangements: Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
