Mrs. Diana Lynn Gee, age 86, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Bennie Herrington and Essie Faye Williams on March 28, 1939 in Gainesville, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 3:30 PM at Riverbend Baptist Church. Reverend Larry Allison and Reverend Ben Wallis will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Riverbend Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gee is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Herrington and Charlie Herrington.

She is survived by her husband, Wiley Gee, Sr of Gainesville; children, Tammie (Tim) Tench of Gainesville, Wiley, Jr (Pam) Gee of Gainesville, Cheryl Loden of Gainesville; brother, Tony (Laura) Herrington of Gainesville; special nephew, James Herrington of Gainesville; nieces, Mary Susan McNeal of St. Simons, and Angie Herrington; grandchildren, Kindle Bales, Chasity Forrester, Chad "Buster" Tench, Latasha Gaddy; great- grandchildren, Georgia, Carson, Ella, Maddox, Jayden, Michael Kadance; caregiver, Mycki Little of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Geraldine Herrington; and many other loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis Tennessee 38105
