Diana Jones, 56, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, nana and friend, departed for Heaven on May 20, 2024. She was born in Muncy, Pennsylvania and graduated from Killeen High School in Texas in 1985, before moving to Pflugerville, Texas in 1992.

Diana was a selfless and tireless mother who was a constant show of support for her children. Uncountable weekdays and weekends were spent attending practices and games for sporting events, cheerleading, and club meetings. The only things drawing her back home were her beloved rescue dogs.

She worked for Travis County Sheriff's Office for 25 years, there she also met and married her husband, Jackson Lee Jones, in 2000. She began working in the dispatch department and ultimately spent 8 years as a Law Enforcement Specialist with the Child Abuse Unit. During her time there she read over 140,000 Child Protective Service referrals and generated over 1,700 criminal cases to be investigated. She was as devoted to this job as she was to her own family.

After retiring, she and her husband moved to Madison County where they bought their dream home, and enjoyed the peaceful countryside.

Diana is survived by her husband, Jackson Lee Jones; children, Lillian and husband, Anthony Steward, Paige and husband, Cory Johnson; step-children, Cody and wife, Cody Leigh Jones, Keegan and wife, Kaylie Jones; and grandchildren, Cooper, Warren, Marlowe, Aspen, Hudson, Murphy, and another blessing due in August 2024.

The funeral service will take place at Madisonville Funeral Home on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 2 P.M., Bro. Glenn Connor will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Madisonville Cemetery, Madisonville, Texas. A time of fellowship and visitation will take place from 1 P.M. until service time.

Pallbearers: Brendan Flores, Cody Jones, Cory Johnson, Keegan Jones, Anthony Steward, Ben Moskowitz
