Diana Lather Obituary

Diana Lee Lather, 77, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away at Vancrest of Holgate on Feb. 14, 2025.

She was born in Plymouth, Michigan, on Feb. 27, 1947, to the late Robert Roberts and Joyce Grunda.

Diana was a member of the Napoleon Moose Lodge and the AMEVTS Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to sprint car races and was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, Michigan Wolverines and the Cleveland Indians. In her spare time, Diana liked to play bingo and assemble puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Deanna Love, Gary Love, Jerry Love, Carrie (Tim) Spangler, Christopher George, Dawn Swann, Erica (Michael) Murphey, Rebecca Cross and Loretta Lather; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother Marv Love.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lather; granddaughter, Aubree; and siblings, Beatrice Novak and Wilbur Love.

Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, from 3-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at 11 a.m., with an hour of visitation prior to services. Interment will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Dianna's name.
