Susie Mae Malone

Susie Mae Malone age 84 of Gary,In passed away Sunday October 5,2025. Susie was born October 8th, 1940, in Carthage Mississippi to the late Stroke Dawson and Estee Anderson Dawson. She completed her education at Saint Anne Catholic school in Carthage Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Saint Anne church. She later converted to Christianity and was a member of New Life Outreach Ministries.
Susie loved twice in this life, first united in marriage to the late Cleophas Washington and later to the late Marion Malone. To these unions 5 children were born. Susie leaves to cherish her memories 3 daughters, Doris (Ronald) Hearne, Valerie Warden, Cleophas Washington Jr, Nicole (Johnny) Bennett, and Robert Malone. 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great-grands and 1 Great-great grandchild. 4 God-children
Others left cherish Susie Mae's memory are two sisters-in-law Carrie (Frank) Dawson (Gary, IN) and Betty (LJ) Dawson, Carthage MS and many nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends, Verline Webb, Jean Mathis, Betty Lou Dawson and her care-giver Diane Friels .
Susie was preceded in death by her father Stroke Dawson, mother Estee Dawson (4) sisters, Jennell Luckett, Jerlean Weldon, Thelma and Ruby Dawson. (3) brothers, Frank, Oscar, and Louis Dawson. 1 Great Grandson Anthony Mclendon Jr.
